MIAMI FL. Three years ago, two Venezuelan entrepreneurs foodies decided to create a space where Japanese and Peruvian food merged together in order to create an exquisite fusion of these two exotic cuisines.

That is how Sokai Sushi Bar opened the doors of its first location in the City of Doral in 2013. A cozy space where the goal has always been to please all the locals and tourists with a menu that presents an original and daring mix of ingredients used in both ancient kitchens.

Throughout the years these entrepreneurs have built a respectable reputation within the restaurant business as the result of the spectacular gastronomic experience offered at Sokai.

The second and third restaurant are located on West Flagler and The Falls in south west Miami. Both openings marks without a doubt, the growth of the brand which is given by the loyalty of a clientele that is been growing over time.

At the Flagler location, the menu has an even more extensive variety. The kitchen is more spacious which allows further development of the Chef’s creativity in order to please customers even more.

The Sokai Experience

The success of the restaurant is the result of a diverse menu and the deeply care that is been put into the preparation of the handmade courses. The ingredients are 100% fresh and carefully selected. All of the fish variety is purchased daily in order to maintain fresh ingredients that achieves the client’s expectation and follow Sokai’s philosophy of what a good kitchen should be.

The Sokai experience offers an infinite range of possibilities for Japanese and Peruvian cuisine lovers. If you lean towards Japanese flavors, you can enjoy our delicious salads such as our Krab Crunchy Salad or a Tuna Pizza flavored with exquisite truffle oil. If you are a "roll addict" then it is a must to try the Sokai Roll, which according to experts it is literally an explosion of flavors. But if Peruvian cuisine is what you came in for, then you get to choose from our Tiradito Acebichado, Lomo Saltado or a delicious Seco de Res. All amazing dishes that have the unique touch of all of our chefs.

On the other hand, for fit and reduced calories plates, Sokai offers the "Salads Roll" which are roles without rice, low in calories and packed with protein and algae. This is a unique and original way to eat healthy without any guilt.

This crafted menu has earned the brand the recognition of the restaurant business. Even the desserts have had a starring role on the menu, homemade Alfajores, Suspiro de Limeña and Marquesa de Nutella are just some of the specialties that would satisfied any sweet tooth.

Recently the Sokai Sushi Bar App was lunched with the purpose of being a tool to streamline reservations and orders at home and allow the company to keep the customers happy.

Sokai’s philosophy is all about being socially responsible with its team and also with the environment. Therefore not only we strive to foster and maintain an excellent working atmosphere, but also they support small and medium local producers by buying most of their ingredients that supplied their three locations.
